The azeraptor is a pack hunter that evolved from the azelak scavenger. It hunts some of the animals that live in the Huggs-Yokto region. To cope with life in the warmer climate of this area, the azeraptor developed a sail-like mane of hair on its back. Each hair has an internal blood supply, which helps to get rid of excess heat. This also means that each hair has the color-changing ability of previous azelaks. Apart from heat regulation, the sail is also used for mating behavior and sometimes to scare away predators.
