The balcony pyamus replaced its ancestor in the Jujubee ocean. It has grown slightly longer and other than that changed very little. It still has a main hollow core where it stores its nutrients, a set of roots, and consumes microorganisms and dead biological material that snows down from higher levels of the ocean, through its body. It also evolved a small balcony like organ that grows around its body and keep the dead material that snows from above near the pyamus so it can feed on it at all times and so that it will not slip down and be lost. Around this organ it has evolved specialized cells for consuming that also release outer body jelly like acids. This creates tiny pools of that acid deep inside the balcony.
