The barlowe nailfin split from it's ancestor and spread to the coasts of west Barlowe. They have grown significantly, and now eat the various creatures of the area. They have developed ways to digest iron coated flora such as rust seaweed and braided rustweed. They are more robust then their ancestors, and have a stronger jaw for crushing prey. Otherwise, they are like their ancestors. Like their ancestors, the males are solitary creatures that only socialize to mate. They have no specific mating season, and instead just breed when the female is in heat, which is every 3 months. The males use their long teeth to fight for mates.
