The branchshroom has split from its ancestor the stalkshroom. Like its ancestor it lives off of other organisms, specifically immobile plents. Under the cap are miniature versions of the shroom which will grow the reproductive spores. Each are like miniature versions of its ancestor, and will release their sticky spores when a creature knocks them off. If the creature is too rough it may knock off a whole miniature shroom and it can regrow on its own. They have no pigment of their own and will absorb whatever pigment they get from the creature they are attached to. This usually means brown in the case of immobile plents.
