The brumgo hasn't changed a lot, its main differences are: a more frontal heavy build, strong neck muscles and tusks capable of uprooting plants and the specialization of its blow-hole. It does not feed on fauna as much as it used too, but it is still considered an omnivore. It has a very frontal-based build, because of the fact that it does not eat the flora itself that much, but mainly eats their roots, as they stockpile most of the flora's energy.
Its tusk can penetrate the ground with their sloped form, and due to their heavy neck muscles - as seen on the bump above their neck joints, they can easily lift the whole 'plant' into the air, after which the brumgo will proceed by eating the roots. The frontal build is also the cause of this. Because the immense strength needed to uproot plants like the irontangled vandriswoop, a weaker or more posterior-based built brumgo would collapse.
Its sail has spread out to stand more away, making a sharp V on the brumgo's back, this allows more sunlight to reach the sails. The yellow blow-hole has change a bit too: it has the ability to slightly elongate or shrink, get thinner or widen itself. This allows the brumgo to create complex mating songs, and the male with the most complex song gets the females.
