The bumblecaveling split from its ancestor and moved to the ninja sandstone caves . Its eyes grew and started to cover the scales on which they grow. Its eyes now possess the ability to sense light from the infra-red spectrum as well as white light. Like its ancestor, the bumblecaveling is a solitary creature, but unlike the ancestor, they are nocturnal and thrive at dark places. They lay eggs into a silk ball attached to the surface of the cave or the cave torch. They now only fly in the direction of the eyes, and their body curls forwards when they eat. Since they are eating mostly cavetorch nectar, their eyes sometimes give the appearance of emitting light in the darker reaches of the caves.
