Descendant of Ancestor of

The crimson planthog split off from the planthog. It has moved out into the Ittiz-Ovi Desert and the Ittiz Swamp though it still lives the western part of the Ittiz-Ovi-Hydro Rainforest. Unlike its ancestor, it has developed a large sail, which helps keep it cool. Another important adaptation it went through was that its skin has become rusty red to blend in with the sand.

Other evolutions include: its snout becoming longer, which helps it snatch its prey more easily; its hearing has gotten even better; and its tusks have become smaller, since it doesn't need them as much as it used to. They have developed white markings around their eyes to help attract other crimson planthogs.
