The death soriparasite replaced its ancestor the alpine soriparasite. While it looked much like its ancestor it was able to regulate its temperature no matter what the climate as well as become immune to the shrew plague. Its range covered most of Glicker. Wherever there was a shrew it went there and spread the shrew plague. However places like Yokto Island saved the bearded shrew and The river saved the river shrew from extinction. Also its close relatives such as the soriparasite and night glider were left alone due to them being so closely related. Like its ancestor the death soriparasite gets the rest of its warmth from its warm-blooded hosts in cold regions like the alpine and tundra. Sadly due to the success of the shrew plague it killed off all its food sources and became extinct as well. Thus ending the horrible plague once and for all.
