The deep crimson phantomsquid split from its ancestor. When the phantomsquids found the solitude of the Abyss, they also found a bountiful feast. It has grown to gigantic size to handle the deep-sea pressures, as well as to increase the amount it can eat. It has a thin membrane between its tentacles to help push its girth through the water. Other than these changes, it is the same as its ancestor.
