The fairy fin split from the jubnail; they are far weaker swimmers and are held in the calm waters of the shallows. On their backs are purple spots that make them blend in to xeno raftballs from above keeping them fairly safe from hookmouth phlyers. When tired they haul themselves onto the caps of filters; if they do this in groups they can make the cap look like more water.
