The flyworm has split from the emperor wingworm. Its body and wings have all gotten smaller. It now breeds extremely fast and travels in huge swarms. They are now completely blind and communicate through pheromones. Their sense of smell is so good they can smell dead rotting fauna or flora from miles away. They are not picky and will eat everything from a not so fresh kill to rotting fruit. They are important to the environment in they clean up all dead things. They also have short life spans and will mate and lay eggs within a day. Once they lay the eggs on their food they will live for only a short time more. The eggs will hatch and grow into "grubs". These grubs look exactly like their parents except they have no wings. Within a day they will grow wings and will seek out new food to go mate on. Thus the life span of flyworms is only about 3 days. Egg for day 1, grub for day 2 and adult for day 3.
