The fuzzy scuttlecrab replaced its ancestor the leatherback scuttlecrab on Somarinoa Beach. Its exoskeleton has formed into a fuzzy outer coating that mimic the glintdagger grasses. It must compete for this grass with the grasschomper, but can also eat the turd Plant. However the turd plant stinger will hide next to them so they must beware when feeding on them. Their front claws are used for walking now but can be lifted up to pinch predators who might want to eat them.
