The greater plentshirshu replaced its ancestor, the plentshirshu. With so many other predators eating kruggs, it specialized in small plents like the barkback and jongfoll; the jongfoll is its favorite prey. It has grown slightly larger and is even more aggressive; it has to be with predators like the goliath flunejaw around. It has grown even more feelers which it uses to taste the air or soil around it. They keep it wet to better pick up tastes. It's a carnivore and scavenger. It is opportunistic and very tough. It will fight larger predators over a carcass.
Despite developing a great sense of smell and touch, they will still use their large ears for echolocation when above ground. When underground they will dig a large burrow to sleep in and raise their young. Their bodies are strong and compact. Like their ancestor, their butt-nostril have a large set of spines around the butt-nostril to protect it from predators' bites. The spines are barbed and can detach if stuck in a predator. When digging tunnels its ears and spines can fold down, so not to get stuck.
