The guttoplaque split from it's ancestor. They have now become gut microbes that aid in the digestion of food. their bodies have elongated, and have a new style of locomotion: They have developed mircrovilli on their sides which not only helps it move around, but also catches food particles, which are then dissolved.

Their nucleus has moved to the back, and the front now has a organelle that sprays acid that breaks up bigger food particles into smaller chunks, so it can be dissolved by the microvilli. They reproduce through mitosis.
