The offensive microfort split from its ancestor, the micro fort, and developed a defensive measure against its cousin, the ramming infiltrator. it developed inner spikes, that connect to organelles adapted to inflate at the sign of danger, pressing the spikes out towards it attacker. After puncturing the attacker, the offensive microfort then uses the attacker's nutrients for itself.
