The Plerp split from its ancestor, the Membranae Infinitus. It has developed eight flagellum around its body to capture other microbes easily and now it can also swim instead of just floating. The flagellum allows it to grab onto other microbes. For example, it can grab a Trisphourus and not have to waste energy moving. This makes the Plerp a versatile organism.
