The plowl split from the phawk. Even though it fills the same niche as its ancestor it hunts at night and thus is not in direct competition. Since it hunts at night it has lost all its photosynthesis abilities. Its coloring is now a very dark green to match the dark night, while its eyes have improved to see at night. Its front legs have moved down so it can grab prey better, also. During the day it will roost in hollowed out bubble cactus.
