The ramjet replaced its ancestor the proto-ramjet. It adapted an even more effective "butt-jet". This use used bioelectricity to cause a spark. It sucks in air and compresses it in the main chamber. Stored methane is then injected in with the air and ignited with the bioelectoric spark. Then out the nostril where it can be adjusted to let more or less out. It will typically suck in methane from volcanic areas but can also produce methane trough digestion.
The success of its ramjet organ has allowed it to dominate wherever it goes. In Hydro Volcanic it has caused the Black-Belly Gasglider, Wingless Sprinter and Mini Gasglider to become extinct. In Hydro Beach it has caused the Black-Belly Gasglider and Mini Gasglider. to become extinct In Hydro Coast it has caused the Black-Belly Gasglider and Mini Gasglider to become extinct. Its extremely opportunistic and will eat just about anything. It scavenges as much as it can hunt. When it hunts it can use its ramjet organ as a boost to swoop down on prey. Its 2 red crest now form earlobes around the tympanic membrane so it can hear better.
It would build nests at the top of cliff faces or on cave walls. Females will sit there until their babies are born via live birth. The male will bring back food for the female. Once the babies are born the male will sit and protect the babies and the female will get food for them. Once grown they will all join the flock once again. While they stay in a flock to avoid bigger predators they do not hunt in packs yet. They will however fight over dead food when scavenging.
