The rapidafeo replaced its ancestor the amplafeo. It moved down from the Yokto Rocky to the high grasslands and high desert as well. It has adapted to be a quick predator who can sprint after prey for short distances. Its feet and tail have developed claws for better gripping of the soil. The purple stripes are to help it hide in purple flora. Its horn has grown bigger to help it dig up burrowing prey as well as making a burrow for itself to sleep, raise young and even hibernate in during the winter.
The green crest is used to attract mates and they will breed in the warm summers where they can eat lots of prey to fill up for the winter. In the winter they hibernate because most other creatures in the region are hibernating too thus not much food prey on. They are social creatures and will not only hunt in packs but will raise their young together with broodcare.
