The red dragoon snark has replaced its ancestor the comet snark in LadyM Ocean (Sunlight Zone). A swift predator, it forms small schools of up to 3-4 individuals so that it may take down large prey and outmaneuver large schools of prey. A unique feature of this species is that it is the first snark to be oviparous. In order to give their young a good chance at life, the mothers produce numerous unfertilized eggs as the embryos develop. Once the young hatch, they will feed on these before being born, after which they form schools for protection. They will eventually come to fear few creatures in the sea.
