Reproduction Sexual (Lays a brood of small, soft, Snail-like eggs in a hole in the moist sand on the beaches)

The scraping currybug split from its ancestor and shrank in size. It no longer relies on mimicry for survival, it now hides under dry sand, allowing only its upper eyes to pop out of the sand. Because of this they lost most of their fuzz for hygienic purposes. Their front legs have become long and switch-like to scrape their food off the surface of the beach.
