The sublyme cavamari split from its ancestor the cavamari. It made its way from the Yokto Water Table into Sublyme Limestone Caves where it found an abundance of sublyme cavepedes to eat. Its now sits on the bottom of the cave pools with its suction-cup tentacles. Since its ancestor breathed out via a jet between its tentacles it could no longer do this if it was sitting on the hole. So it now will breathe in and out the same mouth hole at the top of its body. The jet is now sealed at the bottom and it must move around using only its tentacles now. It hardly moves at all though since the food can come to it.
