The swimming urchip is not much different from the shelled urchip, but split from it nonetheless. Its main differences are its elongated, hydrodynamic body, its lessened armour-plating, and its ability to prey on small prey, like the krillpedes and green swarmers. Its ability to swim has widened its choice of diet, and its versatile stomach has helped it tremendously in the evolutionary race.
