The teproutine mebos split from its ancestor, the teproutine, and moved to Barlowe Tundra. It specializes to feed on copper and iron. It feeds on copper and iron while under the ground, but when it’s in the snow, the teproutine mebos searches for organic particles. It has developed arm-like structure, with which it searches for organic particles. It uses these arms only when it’s on the snow, when it goes underground it hides the arms, so they can't get damaged by the soil. A big change is, that now it uses mitosis to reproduce.
Living Relatives (click to show/hide)
These are randomly selected, and organized from lowest to highest shared taxon. (This may correspond to similarity more than actual relation)
None found. Note that this does not necessarily mean it has no living relatives at all, but that, assuming all taxonomy is filled in, its entire phylum is extinct; any relatives it does have likely do not resemble it.
