Living in the tundra island and depending exclusively of the hibernating carnofern to eat, the woolly xenobee started to search for new food sources, evolving resistance to the orange spores of black flora over the time and originating a new species. The triglossbee evolved in order to be more adapted to the cold conditions found in Dacmat Island, once the food supply wasn't readily available under the constant wintry conditions.
The triglossbee acquired a black skin, being totally covered by a white furry hair, that protects it from the cold while keeping it warm. Being unable to drink the nectar of the hibernating carnofern for long periods, the triglossbee added to its diet the spores of black and purple flora, readily available. It will do short flights over black and purple flora in order to get spores attached to its furry coat and then rest attached to some surface in order to eat them. It evolved a long three-tipped tongue covered by tiny hairs; these hairs are often wet with saliva and it uses it to lick the spores attached to the body. With the new habits, the new population increased in numbers and spread to the beach, replacing the ancestor in the island.
