The violet glowlicker replaced its ancestor the glowlicker. It has evolved along side the Mega Orbitree and depends upon it. Like its ancestor it is primarily nocturnal now and will stay active from dusk to dawn. It can still photosynthesize while sleeping, thus recharging. Its color is now violet to blend in with the leaves during the day. It will sleep on top of the leaves or on branches. The mega orbitree depends upon it for pollination.
It uses its large eyes for seeing in the dark. Its glowing butt-nostril fin attracts mates in the darkness. The "birthing hole" has grown bigger so it can support more young. It has this adaption because its much easier than rather than giving birth through its long and slender mouth. Now it can readily carry its young in this neck pouch womb until they are ready to give birth; unlike before, this now stretches much wider without worrying about ripping the slender mouth.
Its suction cup feet are much more effective as well and they can even stick on wet slipper leaves. Like their ancestor they can still fly like a hummingbird and depend upon the sugar-rich nectar to survive. Its slender mouth has gotten even longer to better get at the nectar.
