The '''Blackwater Tarpits''' are located in [[Huggs Chaparral]]. Like all tar pits they are a geological occurrence where subterranean "bitumen" leaks to the surface creating a lake of asphalt. To most creatures this looks just like a normal watering hole and they will come to drink from it. However many get stuck or fall in and cannot get back out. Thus the tar pit collects more and more of the local wildlife. In turn preserving their bones forever in its sticky black tomb. |
