The bullseylgae split from its ancestor. It formed when a floralgae split but not completely, with the unseparated cell rotated by 45 degrees. it eventually became a full circle, allowing it to photosynthesise more, due to it's larger surface area. It may look like a single cell, but it is actually ten, bonded into a single mass. It has kept it's colour changing abilities
