The cerulean gillfin split from its ancestor, the blue gillfin. It lives in deeper water feeding off of snotflora and marbleflora. They can dive deep into the twilight zone to feed on snotflora. During the mating season, the males develop a fan-like tail in which females lay their sticky eggs on. The couple will guard the eggs from other predators until they hatch. After that the offspring join the school. They gather in large schools in order to confuse predators.
