The '''Chastro''' split from the [[Climbing Cantro]]. Its has moved to the Yokto Rocky region where there are no tall trees bust still plenty of rocks and cliffs to climb. It now walks on its front legs when walking on flat ground but will use all the limbs including the tail when climbing rock faces. Like their tree pack behavior of ambushing prey the Chastro will work as a team to trap prey in blocked off canyons. If light enough boulders around they will push them down upon the prey to crush them or leap down from the walls and clash with their sharp back talons.

The Chastro will make their homes on the sides of sheer cliffs so their young will not be eaten by opportunistic carnivores. Due to the limited size of the dens they could not support such large groups and only have around 10 members in a pack. Their hair has come more sparse since they do not near as heavy of a coat so far down from the higher alpine regions. However during the winter their hair will grow thicker. Their eyes are in new configuration to have better views of the crayons and gauge how far things are. Also they must constantly see each other in the back as well as their prey when hunting. Their brains are pretty big but much of its power gets used up on maneuvering through the rocky canyons. They will also hunt at the Russ River and ambush while prey is drinking or feeding.
