Miragebok

The crested miragebok has replaced its ancestor on the continent of Wright, but the ones on Glicker remain. Its most notable feature, the crest atop its head, is the most vibrant part of the body. It can change to just about any color or pattern the animal desires, and is used to attract mates. The rest of the body can still change colors as well, but it's more for camouflage. When the herd senses a predator, they will all run together, with their stripes flowing from one end to the other, making it hard to tell the difference between one animal and another. This defense it useless against saucebacks, but the crested miragebok has two large claws on each of the font limbs that can be used to defend if needed. To help balance, its two vestigial limbs have evolved into long limbs that act as a counter-balance when taking turns. They eyes have also become more sensitive to both color detection and movement, allowing it to understand its environment a lot better.
