The '''crystarbor''' replaced its ancestor the [[Slarti Crystal Stalk|slarti crystal stalk]]. It grows 2 to 4 branches which each have the photosynthetic crystals on their ends. The roots not only collect nutrients but filter feed the microbes in the muddy soil and absorb them like most crystal flora do.

Like their ancestor they grow round a few soft crystalline structures. These grow off of small stems connected at the trunk of the crystarbor. This is so fauna can better get to the fruits and thus spread the spores. The soft "fruits" contain lots of sugar and thus attract fauna. Some may fall into the water of the river and will be spread downstream to the swamp where they will grow as well. Once eaten the hearty spores travel through the digestive system of the fauna who ate it.
