Ancestor:Descendants:

To follow their food source, some plagueater evolved to life at the surface, splitting into a new line, the diseater. It beak is extremely strong in order to break through the shells of nautipede, which shells are much thicker than their ancestor. They have also evolved immunity to shelommalis in order to survive. It can still be past on in their waste, so when they are attacked, they release their waste, infecting most creatures that try to ingest them.

It has changed drastically from its ancestor. The diseater's tail membrane has spread all over their bodies and their front limbs have grown to increase their mobility. But, due to disuse, their back fins have atrophied and are no longer functional. Their eyes have grown, allowing them to see nautipede up to 500 feet away.
