The '''egg krugg''' split from their ancestor. They have specialized their diet in eating the eggs of native species. They now live a dangerous life, eating the eggs of their [[Skysnapper|skysnappers]] and [[Ukfauna|ukfauna]]. To defend themselves they are covered in thin constantly growing spines that break off inside the mouths of potential predators. They have also grown a chitin horn and longer front claws that they use to dig for eggs. Like their ancestors they breathe through primitive book lungs located between the segments of their leather-like chitin exoskeleton and lay their snail-like eggs under the soil so predators cannot find them. The eggs can stay dormant for months until warmer weather comes.
