The envious eye was formed due to the Badger Limestone Caverns going through several centuries of progressive erosion. This landmark gets its name due to the ring of green limestone that appears on it. This landmark has also opened up the Badger Limestone Caverns to the outside world of the Darwin Glacier. The diameter of the envious eye is approximately 68 centimeters wide.
