The hollow cryodome has split from its ancestor, the cryodome, moving into the Sublyme Limestone Caves. There, it formed a symbiotic relationship with the hydroutine, growing it in its sponge-like interior, giving it water in return for part of its energy that it produced from hydrogen. Eventually, the center grew into a hollow, specialized chamber for growing the hydroutine. Over time, the hollow cryodome has become entirely reliant on the microorganisms for energy, except for the few lucky enough to live near the entrance of the caves, which still use photosynthesis as a supplement to their new lithotrophic diet.
In addition to growing buds that form plants next to them, they now release
