Their malakommalis shell is not only tough against predators, but those predators that do try to eat them get infected as well, thus providing the shellpede with a food source. They still cannot see, but can smell the malakommalis's scent and feel the signature vibration in the ground of a struggling creature infected with malakommalis. |
