Splitting from it's ancestor, the kicklyn adapted to eat only the gloglend. They are half the size of their ancestor. They are very fast, scurrying along on the ground. Their beaks have become more suitable for eating the glogend. They are very plentiful. They mate once a year around when the gloglend are at peak bloom. The male are slightly smaller then the females due to the females having to guard the young. The females will mate two or three times per litter, which can be between 4-7 pups. The pups are completely helpless, being only 2 cm when born. They grow fast, and are able to defend themselves within two months.

Living Relatives (click to show/hide)

These are randomly selected, and organized from lowest to highest shared taxon. (This may correspond to similarity more than actual relation)
  • Round-Winged Hookphlyer (order Ankistraetiformes)
  • Lari Phlyer (superorder Phyllogryphomorpha)
  • Dusty Spelunkhoe (subclass Rostrophylla)
