Splitting from it's ancestor, the '''kicklyn''' adapted to eat only the [[Gloglend|gloglend]]. They are half the size of their ancestor. They are very fast, scurrying along on the ground. Their beaks have become more suitable for eating the glogend. They are very plentiful. They mate once a year around when the [[Gloglend|gloglend]] are at peak bloom. The male are slightly smaller then the females due to the females having to guard the young. The females will mate two or three times per litter, which can be between 4-7 pups. The pups are completely helpless, being only 2 cm when born. They grow fast, and are able to defend themselves within two months.
