The '''magnethead''' replaced its ancestor the [[Aquatic Plateworm|aquatic plateworm]]. It uses its hammer-like head to detect iron in the soil or dead iron fauna. Two of its 3 nostrils have turned into primitive gills to help it breathe better. Its middle nostril has grown bigger and more sensitive to detecting rotting fauna. It has gained 4 more sets of legs to help it walk and support its iron body. As it grows it must shed its metallic exoskeleton. As the shell rusts it will get redder and redder. Thus those with newly formed exoskeletons will appear grayish. Its reproduction has advanced from fragmentation to asexual spores. The spores are produced from an organ on their tail.
