The '''Memorial Fortresscrab''' replaced its ancestor in the [[Ovi-Hydro High Grassland|High Grasslands]]. It is physically identical to its ancestor except for being smaller. Instead of large sprawling spires, the memorial fortresscrab will build large long mounds that are almost as long as they are high. The base of these mounds are built with stones and pieces of carapace from the dead. The biggest difference between the Memorial Fortresscrab and its ancestor, however, is in its behavior. Fortresscrabs will attempt to 'save' as much of their comrades' remains as possible by stealing from the young, the weak, and the old Lizardworms who feed last. If a Juvenile Lizardworm wanders away from the safety of it's group/parents, Fortresscrabs will often attack it in swarms scattering if an adult approaches to help. Usually females and smaller, quicker males will perform this task.
