The '''no-snarf''' split from its ancestor, though replacing it in the organisms it preys on. It now lives exclusively on plents closely descended from the [[norat]], spreading throughout Drake. It lives in much the same way as its ancestor, living inside plents and consuming cells. It has a evolved a unique reproductive method, forming cysts on the skin of their hosts. These will burst when pressured, or automatically after a specific time. Unfortunately, a highly aggressive species swept through Drake, weakening the population of plents descended from the [[norat]] to a point where they became extinct, causing the extinction of the no-snarf as well. The following species went extinct; the [[nogbarrel]], the [[Downfeathered Noleap|downfeathered noleap]], the [[notox]], and the [[polapin]].
