The nynhorm will also protect the offspring during some time, weaving a silk bag and laying the eggs into it. The creature must be attached to some surface while weaving, and the nest remains attached to the body until most of the eggs hatch and leave it. Due to the flora similarities found in the eastern part of Darwin, the nynhorm was able to spread to the rainforests of the continent.
