This crystal split from it's ancestor and still lives in the Sublyme Limestone Caves. Unlike it's ancestor, the Phantasmagorian Crystal is nearly opaque. Since it previously was compressed in its habitat, the Phantasmagorian Crystal now secretes a chemical that dissolves the surrounding rock, making it easier to grow. Unfortunately, this chemical kills many nearby prey, and therefore, makes the crystal grow slower than if it had a full supply of food.
