It has extra camouflage to match the fuzzbora bark as well as the colors of the microflora growing on said bark. Its beak is serrated to help grab and tear flesh. Its limbs and claws are made for gripping, either to climb on a fuzzbora or to carry away pieces of meat (sometimes particularly small tamkor young are carried off).

The phlice split from its ancestor. As the population of soaring phlyers increased, the number of available lofty roost declined, so some soaring phlyers took to using the fuzzbora as homes. Soon those soaring phlyers living on fuzzboras began to take advantage of the Solpimr island's resources.

Individuals live for 10 years. Maturity occurs within 1.5 years of life and they reproduce once 4 years after. Females gestate young for 4 months before birthing 1-2 babies. Young like to climb around on the upper parts of their home fuzzbora, snaking on bora scuttlers, before they learn to fly and hunt.
