The phosphoutine split from its ancestor, the teproutine. It has specialized in consuming phosphorus. Currently no microbe before this was consuming it, however it is not always easy to find. So they have developed a phosphorus sensory "orbs" on the top of their "head". Once found it will absorb it though the same sensory orbs. They still reproduce via binary fission.
