The pink xenobee is an offshoot of the ancestral xenobee. It has now changed its nectarivorous choices from the joint-winged treeworm to strictly the sugar-trunked balloonarch. It has also changed its color from dark purple to pink, to match the color of the sugar-trunked balloonarch. It uses its tongue to puncture the walls of the yellow nectar bubbles, and digs its proboscis in to feed.
It continues to build hives, and its social structure hasn't changed. Its reproductive habits haven't changed either.
