Because of competition from the wadjetsaur family, the remaining plenthers had to toughen up. They grew bigger. Also the thick patches of skin on its front limbs, which where once used for crawling, have now evolved into two sharp wooden claws, capable of killing even an attercop. Because of these improvements, it replaced its ancestor.
