Ancestor:Descendants:

The Pouched Nectarling split from it's ancestor at the same time that the Squiking Nectarling did. Just like their ancestors, they dig with their snouts to eat the Sugar-Trunked Balloonarch's nectar, and they live in groups. both sexes have evolved a pouch in their mouth for their young to grow in. When a cub is born it is transfered to one of the other members mouth-pouch for care-taking. Both sexes look almost the same, and some have evolved to have both sexes' reproductive organs.
