Also evolved from p. pseudopentaflagellis, this species evolved higher up in the water, where floating debris was less common. The flagella can now be rhythmically moved to provide locomotive power. This is used in tandem with chemoreceptors to move nearer to potential prey organisms such as protomancerxia. They reproduce by mitosis.
